Every year, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education releases a list of occupations that are in High-Demand or have a Critical Shortage. These occupations require an associate's degree or less, with most of them only requiring a high school diploma and on-the-job training. Fall Sweethearts Dance 2025 ~ A huge thank you to our National Honor Society members and Mrs. Hamilton for hosting such a wonderful evening! The gym was full of smiles, twinkle lights, and memories that will last a lifetime. We had lots of great pictures so it was hard to choose which ones to share, but we hope you enjoy taking a look at all those smiling faces. This week our bus drivers and Transportation Director/HS Principal Mrs. Woody led bus safety and evacuation drills with all of our students, PreK–12. Students practiced what to do in case of an emergency, with our older Tigers learning how they could step up and help the younger ones get out safely if needed. It was a great reminder that safety comes first on and off the bus! And yes… it just happened to be Pajama Day, so don’t be surprised when you spot a lot of plaid pants and cozy PJs in the pictures! #TigerPride #BusSafety #Teamwork #WGStrong

A big thank you to Paul Mueller Company in Springfield for hosting our students last week! Ms. Mueller, our RootEd advisor, took students on a tour to see firsthand how Mueller designs and manufactures world-class stainless steel equipment that serves industries from dairy and brewing to pharmaceuticals and beyond. What a great opportunity for our students to connect classroom learning with real-world innovation and career possibilities right here in Missouri!

A huge shoutout to Ms. Miller’s AG Greenhouse & Landscaping class! Last week, students rolled up their sleeves and got to work improving the front of the school — from laying down fresh landscaping to cleaning and planting around the memorial area. Their hard work is making our campus look amazing and showing true Tiger Pride! #TigerPride #HandsOnLearning #WalnutGroveTigers
