Homecoming is coming -- next week - Feb 7th! We play Hermitage starting at 5 p.m. and the coronation will follow the games. | We will be having spirit week dress up days for everyone ~ Pre-K through 12th grade students as well as faculty, staff, and admin. | We also want to invite the HS students to the dance following the games and coronation in the MULTI until 11 p.m. | Go tigers!

Walnut Grove R-V WILL be session as planned tomorrow January 29th. There are still a few patchy roads in the district so please exercise caution and allow for extra time when traveling to school. Also, please anticipate possible delays to bus routes.

Due to poor road conditions, Walnut Grove R-5 will be not be in session tomorrow January 28th. This will be AMI day #2.
Our 5th graders in Ms. Spurling's class became engineers last week! Students designed and tested parachutes to explore gravity, air resistance, and problem-solving through the Engineering Design Process. After building a prototype, they made improvements and tested again — just like real engineers do! Hands-on learning in action!

Mini-Cheer Clinic update!
Walnut Grove R-V SD: Due to the poor road conditions and frigid temperatures, Walnut Grove R-V Schools will not be session tomorrow January 27, 2026. This will be AMI Day #1.
FCCLA students, Miss K and Mrs. Woody attended the Region 10 Star Event Competition in Springfield on Friday. These students spent MANY hours putting together their projects, presentations, and practicing speeches. Their work was impressive and we are so proud of all of them. Here is a list of the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners as well as the list of those heading to STATE. Make sure to congratulate them all.
Hope everyone has had a chance to order some PIZZA. Order forms are due January 27th, and pizza will be delivered February 11th after school in the Multi. See a Freshman to order or even stop by the Elementary office and see Becca. Every purchase supports our Freshman Class — thank you for your support!
