Walnut Grove is looking for 2 separate paraprofessional positions for the 2025-26 school year. One position will be a K-12 Special Education Aide and the other position will either be another Special Education Aide or Preschool Aide.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Stacey Sechler, beloved wife of our dear teacher and coach, Coach Sechler. Stacey courageously fought her battle with cancer, and this week, she entered into rest. During this difficult time, we ask our Tiger family to keep the Sechler family in your thoughts and prayers. Visitation at 1 p.m. and funeral services at 2 p.m. will be held on Wednesday, June 25th, at Northside Church in Springfield.

Walnut Grove R-V School District is seeking applications for a JH/HS Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher, including FCCLA, for the 2025-2026 school year. This position would also involve teaching high school health classes.
After many incredible years of service, Ms. Denise Gregg is retiring from Walnut Grove Schools. As our beloved FACS teacher and devoted FCCLA sponsor, Ms. Gregg has touched the lives of countless students and families with her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering dedication. More than just a teacher, she has been a guiding light who believed deeply in educating the whole child. Her classroom was a place of life lessons, laughter, and learning, and her influence extends far beyond its walls. Ms. Gregg’s passion, compassion, and commitment have left a mark that will never fade. While we will miss her presence dearly, we are so grateful for the legacy she leaves behind. Thank you, Ms. Gregg, for everything.

Honoring Katy Abbott – 35 Years Behind the Wheel! After 35 incredible years as a dedicated bus driver, Katy Abbott is turning off the engine—but not leaving us just yet! We’re so thankful for her decades of safe travels and cheerful mornings.
