Art I, Art II, Art III, and Applied Art created masks that would do the opposite. These masks gave everyone a hint of who they are and what is important to them. Everyone worked really hard on their masks and did a fantastic job! - Mrs. Jones

On Friday, Junior High students discussed information they knew about 9/11.  Students then watched a video about 9/11 and the impact it had and continues have on our Nation. They also discussed those who risked and gave their lives in service to others. Students then had an opportunity to write a letter to a person of their choosing who gave their life for others on that fateful day.

As we approach the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 Attack on America we will be remembering the lives lost on that fateful day. We will begin the day with a reading and a moment of silence being led by Jr. Jaedyn Johnson. Mrs. Kruger's Jr. High and High School social studies classes will also be focusing on the events of that day. We would like everyone to wear red, white and blue in honor of our country and for all those who perished in the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and on Flight 93.
