Congratulations to the Walnut Grove Academic Team for their 2nd place finish in the PCL Scholar Bowl at Dadeville. Also, congratulations to Miguel Najera and Rebekah Nations for being named to the All-Conferance Team.
The Tigers will be playing in 2 upcoming tournaments. The Verona tournament, March 21-24 and the Wheatland tournament, April 4-9.

The Tigers baseball team will their season tomorrow, March 15th, playing in the Hermitage Jamboree at Hermitage High School. The jamboree begins at 4:30pm with Walnut Grove playing at 5:30pm & 7:10pm.

In order to afford all students, faculty and staff to attend the Lady Tigers State semi-final game this Friday, March 11th at 2:00pm we will be dismissing school at 12:00pm. We will be serving sack lunches to students before we release for the day. We will be making up this day on the last day of school, May 25th, which will now be a full day.
Come out Tuesday evening March 8th to celebrate the Lady Tigers and their trip to the Final Four. There will be walking tacos and a drink for $5 beginning at 6:30pm followed by a pie auction and more fundraiser event. Be ready to bid on some of the best desserts by our local moms & grandmas along with lots of other fun items to take home. It will be a fun night for a great cause !! Go Lady Tigers 🏀🐯
DARE Graduation will be held this Tuesday March 8th at 5:30pm in the cafeteria. All 6th grade families are invited to attend. Refreshments will be provided by our WG PTO.
American History students have been learning about WW1. They have been making presentations over specific battles of that war.
The students of the Mrs. Kruger's 6th grade social studies and World History classes both took turns trying out Baklava as they finished their chapter on Greek history.
