On Monday, our staff joined other schools in the conference at Wheatland for a day of professional growth and connection. Guest speaker Jess Smith reminded us of the importance of taking time to “recharge” — whether you’re a teacher, parent, student, or community member. We also had the chance to collaborate with other educators in our grade levels and subjects, and dive into learning sessions of our choice. It was a refreshing reminder that self-care and growth go hand in hand, and that making time to recharge helps us all show up as our best selves for those we serve. Thanks to Chuck Martin for driving the bus and allowing for a little more social time on the trip. #Recharge #LifelongLearning #SelfCare #TigerStrong

💗 WG Family Supporting One of Our Own 💗. Tammy Erwin, a 1994 graduate of Walnut Grove High School and now Superintendent of Humansville School District, was diagnosed with breast cancer this summer and is currently undergoing treatment.

In honor of Tammy, when our Walnut Grove JH team play at Humansville on October 2nd we’d love to see everyone wearing these special shirts to show support. All proceeds will go directly to help Tammy.
