Ms. Spurling's 5th Grade class was working on “Help Wanted Ads”. We have been learning about Lewis and Clark. Students are discussing what skills are needed to go on an expedition like this. They will create ads looking for help to go with them.

Day 2 on the pottery wheel! Our second ceramics class got their turn at shaping clay into their very first creations — and just like the first group, they impressed us with their focus, patience, and creativity. Every spin of the wheel brings more confidence and more amazing art in the making! #TigerPride #WalnutGrove #Ceramics #HandsOnLearning

In Chemistry, students are exploring chemical vs. physical changes by comparing what they see in the lab with particulate models. Meanwhile, our Biomedical Science class is stepping into the role of investigators—conducting a presumptive blood test to determine if the mysterious red substances at a “crime scene” are actually blood. A big shout-out to Mrs. Potter for bringing hands-on, real-world science to life for our students every day!
Softball fans: Update your schedules now. We have added two new home games on 9.24 and 10.1 vs. Newburg and Nevada respectively. Both will have a 5 p.m. start time. Can't wait to see you there!!
