2024 Sixth Grade D.A.R.E. Graduation will be held on Wednesday, December 18th at 2:15 p.m. in the cafeteria. We will plan to film the program and post it on Facebook afterwards for those who cannot attend.


It is getting close to time for the 2024 Morris Bro Holiday Classic here at Walnut Grove Schools. It will be held during the week of 12/21-12/30. It is time to buy your Community Pass for $25/person which will get you into all the games. This is a special offer only for our community. You can order passes using the link to the google form or the QR code and then Amber will then invoice you via your email and you can pay online. Do not delay! A representative from OTC will be here at Walnut Grove to talk about and visit with students about the Precision Machining Technologies Program on January 17 at 2 p.m. Please see Mrs. Porter for more information or to sign up!

Here are your weekly activities and bus leave times for the week of December 10th.


The 8th graders in Mrs. Freeze's ELA class utilized @EduProtcols Wicked Hydra to prepare for their research papers. They did an incredible job sharing their thought processes and plans with their peers.


Ms. Hayter and the art club started painting downtown Walnut Grove to get ready for the Christmas parade!!! She is great at juggling teaching all of our art students and also helping out in the community. We are thankful to have her here at Walnut Grove!



There is still time to send food to help out with families in need. FCCLA will still be collecting in the morning. If you can send food items with students in the morning or drop them off in the offices throughout the day!!


Spring Preview at Mission University in Springfield is coming soon! It is an annual event where students can come stay on campus, sit in classes, attend chapel, and hang out with other students!
