Next week we are celebrating DISTRICT BASKETBALL with a spirit week! Graphic Design By: Junior Jenivee Corlett.
Here are next week's activities along with your district basketball brackets! District Basketball playoffs February 20 – 25th. Boys at Wheatland High School. WG first round vs Fair Play, Monday 02/20 at 5:00pm. Girls at Halfway High School-WG bye first round. WG 2nd round game vs TBA, Thursday, 02/23 at 7:00pm. Admission to all District games is $6 for ALL ages – no senior discount.
The Lady Tigers will begin District play Thursday evening February 23rd at 6:00 pm. The Lady Tigers earned a first round bye and will play the winner of the Niangua/Halfway. Games will be held at Halfway High School. Admission is $6/all ages.
The Tigers will begin District basketball play Monday evening February 20th at 5:00 pm versus Fair Play. Games will be held at Wheatland High School. Admission is $6/all ages.
District Basketball play begins next week. Due to MSHSAA changes, district games for the boys and girls will be played at separate locations. The Tigers district games will be played at Wheatland High School. The Lady Tigers will be playing at Halfway High School. Please see the posted brackets for game dates and times. It was a huge day for our Walnut Grove FBLA students under the leadership of our new business teacher, Dr. Loveland. We have a lot to celebrate! These students stepped out of their comfort zones, tried new things, and made our school and community proud! Congratulate them next time you see them...we would say we have strong leaders in the making, but these kiddos are already amazing leaders and represented WG so well today (plus, we had a lot of silly fun)! Tanner and Montanna advanced to STATE competition! Let's go Tigers!
