FCCLA headed to Tan-Tar-A for their state competition and now two of them are headed to Nationals in Orlando, FL in July: Drew Morrisett placed first in Fashion Construction and Autumn Tiller placed 2nd place in Level 2 Repurpose and Redesign. Wish them luck if you see them. Jadyn Glenn placed 3rd in Level 1 Repurpose and Redesign as well. We are so proud of all the students who competed and look forward to hearing more about their competition! Many hours go into preparations for these types of contests. Congrats!!!

The Lady Tigers will be playing for 3rd place tomorrow @ 2:00 pm @ Mizzou Arena. The Pep Bus for tomorrow will leave at 9:30am. They will stop for lunch on the way. The theme is Orange out and the concession stands are card only.

Show-Me Showdown Update: The National Weather Service has indicated the line of storms moving through Missouri could hit Columbia between the end of the 4 p.m. game and the beginning of the 6 p.m. game. For those traveling in for the 6 p.m. game, we encourage you to get to Mizzou Arena as soon as possible - or wait until the storm passes.

We are going to have send off on Thursday afternoon, March 13th at 12:45 pm for our Walnut Grove Lady Tigers immediately following JH lunch. We would like to have all PK-12 students, faculty, staff and community members line up through the FEMA and outside through the doors to the bus. Ms. Spurling's class was studying the engineering process for science. The students had to build a parachute and by using the engineering process, improve their first prototype for a parachute by building a second one that allowed for a smoother, slower fall.
