It's Blackout Saturday for the Tigers opening round of Districts tomorrow, 02/19. Wear your Walnut Grove black and come out to cheer on the Tigers for the win. Game time is 7:30pm at SBU.
The Lady Tigers opening district game has been moved up to Monday evening, 02/21 at 6:30pm at SBU in Bolivar. Attached is the updated MSHSAA bracket.
District basketball play begins for the Tigers and Lady Tigers. The Tigers will play their first round game tomorrow evening, 02/19, at 7:30pm vs Humansville. The Lady Tigers will play their first round game Tuesday evening, 02/22, at 6:30pm, team to be announced. All games will be played at SBU in Bolivar. Admission is $5 for all who attend. Come out and cheer on your Tiger teams as they begin their post-season play !!
Game time change for tonight's games vs. Morrisville: The games will now start at 5 pm and we will play only a varsity girls and varsity boys game.

Homecoming Week! Today is Tiger Pride Day!
It;s Walnut Grove Homecoming 2022 !! Games begin at 5:30pm. The order of games will be Varsity girls followed by Varsity boys. There will be NO JV games tonight so our Homecoming ceremony will begin earlier at approximately 7:45pm. Come out tonight to cheer on our Tiger teams as they take on the Hermitage Hornets and to see who takes home the title of 2022 Walnut Grove Homecoming Princess and Queen.

Congratulations to Sophomore Cassidy Clayton and 8th graders Zoie Glenn & Aubrey Hanak for receiving Gold at the Regional FCCLA Star Event competition. All three have qualified for the State competition in March. Zoie & Aubrey received a 1st place rating in Food Innovations Level 1. Cassidy received a 1st place rating in Food Innovations Level 2. Great job girls !!

At halftime of the Varsity girls game will be a performance by our Walnut Grove mini-cheerleaders !! Come out tonight and cheer on our Tiger teams and mini-cheerleaders !

It's Valentine order time ! Place your Valentine orders by Wednesday, 2/9, for delivery this Friday, 2/11. There is everything from $1 candy treat bags to $3 cookie grams to a variety of valentine baskets ranging from $10-$25. Order forms went home last week but are also available in the elementary or high school offices.
2022 WGHS Mini Cheer Clinic & Performance will be tomorrow, Tuesday February 8th. The cheerleaders will hold clinic with the mini-cheerleaders after school from 3:45pm until the games begin at 5:30pm when they will escort the performers to the gym where they will sit behind the cheerleaders until they perform at halftime of the Varsity girls’ game at approximately 6:15-6:30pm. Come out and "cheer on" our Walnut Grove mini-cheerleaders during their performance. **Parents please send in a note to the Elementary Office for staying after school on performance day.
