Walnut Grove Junior High and High School Families,
As we get closer to the end of the semester, first semester final exams will be here before you know it. Final exams are scheduled for December 18-20th. The final exam schedule is:
- Monday, December 18th: 2nd, 4th, and 6th hours
- Tuesday, December 19th: 3rd, 5th, and 7th hours
- Wednesday, December 20th: 1st hour
If a student meets the requirement for grades and attendance, they have the opportunity to opt out of two core class finals and two elective class finals.
Finals Exemption 2023-24 Criteria and Information:Students will be expected to take finals unless they meet the following criteria:
- At least 80% grade in the class
- Missed no more than 24 hours this semester
Final exemption does not apply to dual credit courses. The High School office will be contacting students on Wednesday, December 13th that meet both requirements. This is a busy time of the year and student attendance is vital, so please make sure to keep up your attendance rate. We ask that any student that has a planned absence during December 18-20th be in contact with their teachers and schedule a time to take their final examination prior to the end of the semester.
