On Thursday, August 24, Walnut Grove R-V Schools welcomed back our faculty and staff. Our new superintendent, Mr. Rory Henry, has an incredible vision and mission leading our staff and students into the 2023-2024 school year.
Mr. Henry would like to thank the incredible WG custodian and maintenance staff and all the volunteers for going above and beyond this summer to help get our building ready for students!
Thank you to Mrs. Bowers and all our elementary teachers for their grace, patience, great attitudes, and hard work!
Lastly, a huge THANK YOU to our Walnut Grove taxpayers for making all of our school building improvements possible!

Mr. Henry shared, “To me core values are really important. Work ethic - I’m not above any job here. Integrity - always think about high character and strong morals. Competitiveness and Grit - we will continue to grow in all areas. Compassion and love - we are all here for kids, don’t ever forget why we are here. Loyalty - I bleed black and orange, I’m committed to Walnut Grove…this is home and I believe in our success here. Servant leadership - I’m here to support my staff and my door is always open. Walnut Grove Schools was in the top 40 schools in the state of Missouri and that’s because of the staff here.”
