Flag Presentation by Master Sergeant Michael Harris

On Friday April 27th our very own alumni, Master Sergeant Michael Harris presented Walnut Grove School with a flag. Michael felt proud to be able to do this for the school. he had a total of 24 flags that flew in planes during bombing missions and he also said some traveled three or four times.

Notice to Walnut Grove R-V School District Parents/Guardians:

The Walnut Grove School District will no longer be using School Reach to contact patrons. The district has chosen to use Textcaster as the new means of communication. Textcaster will give you “Tiger Alerts” via text message and/or email.

Textcaster will be used by the district to provide emergency information, school closings, early dismissals, and event reminders. Below you will find a link to the information needed to sign up through our website. If you do not have internet access to sign up, you may fill out the form and return it to the office and we will input the information for you. The district will still use the media (television and radio) for school closing, early dismissals, and any other emergency information. If you have any questions please feel free to contact any of the offices.
