NOTICE OF BOARD CANDIDACY
Any person desiring to announce their candidacy for the office of school board director of the Walnut Grove R-V School District for a term of three years (4 director’s seats available), may do so in the Office of the Superintendent beginning Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. The final date to file for school board candidacy is Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
Interested candidates may file during regular school business hours 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. School will be closed starting December 16, 2022 (at 12:30 p.m.) through January 2, 2023 for Christmas break.
Those desiring to announce candidacy must be citizens of the United States, resident taxpayers of the Walnut Grove R-V School District, have resided in Missouri for one year preceding the election, and be at least 24 years of age.
Four board members will be elected to a three-year term on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Anyone with questions regarding school board candidacy may contact the Superintendent of Schools at 788-2543 extension 110.
